This Privacy Policy explains how Mainty ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Maintenance Data: Information you enter such as assets/items (e.g., vehicle, home, equipment), maintenance tasks, service history, notes, reminders, and attachments.
• Location Data (Optional): If you choose to save a location for an asset, service, or maintenance entry, we collect the location you provide.
• Media Access: Photos, documents (e.g., receipts), and audio recordings you choose to capture or upload in the app.
• Account Information: Email and username used to create and access your account.
• App Usage Data: Anonymous information such as feature usage patterns, device type, OS version, and crash logs. This helps us maintain and improve the app.
• Purchase Data: Information related to in-app purchases and subscriptions, processed via our billing provider(s) and the App Store / Play Store.

We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) or any data used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide core app functionality
• Record and manage your maintenance history and reminders
• Process and validate subscriptions

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We use a few trusted third-party service providers strictly to operate the app:

• Authentication & Storage – Account login and secure data storage
• Crash Reporting & Analytics – App stability monitoring and aggregated usage analytics
• Billing – Subscription processing and validation

These services act as data processors and do not use your information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your maintenance data and login credentials are stored securely using our infrastructure and service providers.
Data is encrypted during transmission.
We recommend exporting or backing up your maintenance records regularly for your own records.

6. Children’s Privacy

Mainty is not specifically directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Parents or guardians may contact us to review or delete data related to a minor’s account.

7. No Tracking or Advertising

Mainty does not:

• Collect IDFA or other advertising identifiers
• Track users across apps or websites
• Serve personalized ads

Because we do not perform any tracking, the app does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.”
